Death Valley, our third stop for filming Narval’s feature film #UnderTheBurningSun.
Compared with the first two stops, we had to separate the teams in different places to stay, it’s actually the first time that whole team to stay in one hotel together! When we checked in yesterday, we all have a feeling like coming to a summer camp, which was very fun.
Since the shooting location is relatively far away from us, and there is no signal along the way, so all cars need to keep up with the team. On the way to location, it was all silent. But on the way back, it was a completely different scenario. Under the beautiful sunset of Death Valley, on the walkie-talkie, T hosted his Northeast China-flavored radio, with Chris and Zicheng pretended to be the gators directing the way. We had fun like extracting pleasure from the hardships.
Halfway through the shooting, the style of this film has been basically finalized, and the team bonding became more and more stronger. I hope that in the next two weeks, there will be fewer emergencies, so that everyone can feel more at ease in creation.
