It’s been a long day with racing mind and deep emotions.
There were too many things happened today. All kinds of unexpected situations with personnel and equipment that caught everyone off guard. Although these uncertainties caused some confusion on the field, everyone were desperately trying their best to look for solutions. Thanks to the team’s efforts, and with good coordination, problems were solved one by one. More surprisingly, we ended up wrapping an hour early, even exceeded part of tomorrow’s filming, which means the scene that would have taken two days was completed in one day! By the end of the shooting, everyone was extremely exhausted that can’t even manage to laugh, but the proud shined on their faces. When AD Zicheng and I got back in the car, he signed, “such a remarkable day.” Yes, it really was a memorable day for this project thanks to these crazy people! 💪
Equipment and crew management are two key factors will affect the entire film shooting. Even though the team was under such pressure, they managed to survive, which makes me really admire the whole crew from the bottom of my heart. When we went back to the base camp, Director Yun and DP T, and other crews were all starring at the monitor nervously, waiting to check today’s material. After finish watching each take, everyone finally breathed a sigh of relief. At this moment, the pressure of the entire day was relieved. I personally, even a little excited.
Some times, challenges can spark creativity. As long as we overcome the obstacles again and again, wherever we want to go we'll go. Today's diary is a message to every #UnderTheBurningSun crew. Thank You ! ❤️
