Today, let’s talk about the lighting design. Due to the budget and time restrain on pre-production of this film, we planned our set ahead of time as usual. However, as we arrive and set up our gear we notice our initial lighting set up isn’t perfect as planned. This was an issue to our production and we might have to compromise for this scene. As both Yun and T started to discuss alternative composition or angle, our Gaffer Su Mu, came up with a brilliant solution to perfectly solved the issue.

After we wrap up for the day, everyone started to clean up and get ready to go back to our cabins. Producer Jera, and Director Yun, were the first one to leave the set, but they ended up to be the last one that get back. And it turns out Jera found an unexpected “prop” on their way back. This prop is in one of the important scene, but we had been having troubles. While production design department have came up with all sort of ideas, none of them is good enough to convince the team. So when the “prop” show up in front of Jera, Yun saw her eyes turned “GREEN” like a predator find its prey. Now, “it” sits quietly in the art department’s trunk waiting Dong to taken care of it. For now, I will not give any spoiler and leave it as an easter egg for the audience to find it in the movie.

When I finished the last bite of the dinner, my belly is feeling full. When I recalled the materials we got from today’s shooting, the prop that Jera found, and every team member in tune with each other, and every teeny tiny spark of creative idea, my mind is feeling satisfied!
